Antifreeze is ethylene glycol. Polyethylene glycol is a family of
stuff. If memory serves, the poly just means it's a repeating chain.
PEG is found in detergents. I've come across it in other things too.
The only reason it ever stuck in my mind is because it is similar in name
to antifreeze and to what's used in magic bullets {polyethyl
