My spasms went from 'jumpy legs' that were unbothersome to severe
arching back spasms whereby my torso literally threw me forward &
then SLAMMED me back against my chair. Even trying to push me
through the seat backing (0how strong they felt) and were
unbearable.
I found that sitting in my power chair,
I am pinching a nerve in my butt which then causes very violent leg
spasms which almost flip me forward out of my chair. I am back in
manual now and spasms are gone. I sure hope I can find the right
balance between cushion, and leg height to eliminate the spasms.
My rocket really makes my work site
possible as opposed to manually doing the 1/4 mile hallways. I was
hurt in '67 and now feel like I'm sliding into a black hole. Every
month there seems to be something I can no longer do unassisted.
This summer I traded my 2 door car and manual chair for my rocket and a
van with a lift. A direction I have fought against going since the
begining. To the T7, enjoy the many things you can do -
walking might not be on the list but there are many alternatives.
