I have no idea what plan I use except hat it costs me 40 cents a minute or $4 a month if I don't use it at all.   I get no bills or propaganda for a 'better' plan.  For my limited use - this is wonderful.   Go to Walmart and look at their $59 phones.  I'm sure that's what they are all about.
