Hi Sharon, My son is 24 years old and a C4-C5 quad. He was injured at 18. The first year after his accident I talked him into going to Las Vegas. He loves it because it is so accessible. There are a lot of activities for kids. I can't remember all but there are water parks and there are amusements and rides at Circus Circus. There is a magic show in the evening. At one hotel there is joisting with medival knights. The tourist handbook lists serveral activites. Also every hotel on the strip has a pool with rafting. Perhaps this might interest your family or then again it might not be your cup of tea. (just a suggestion).

Stuntman,
We live in MD. My accident was in Australia. A combo of nature/tourist would be cool... Last year we did Disney but it was too hot..the beach part was fun though. I'm trying to tthink of something diff. A cruise came to mind but I recently read that all cruise-liners aren't truly accessible. Just thought I would pick a few brains to see ifanyone on the list had any experiences to suggest.
