It was sort of drilled into me during rehab that you are exactly the same after a sci, as you were before! Your personality, your likes, dislikes, things that make you, 'you'!
I think a subject change is in need--anyone got one! Would you believe I was "turned down!" by Columbia House video/dvd/cd club!! Noone gets turned down from them! I did get my free credit report and have a good number, 'plus' I was a member of the club for years, I mean 'years' before finally stopping for a couple of years. I still get emails from them weekly asking me to join.
The last time I looked at their sales pitch it was 5 dvd's for 49 cents, free shipping. The free shipping finally got me, plus I could get all three of the Lord of the Ring movies. Next time I get an "invitation" I will look at it and give them a piece of my mind! he! he!
Plus, finally have found a service dog prospect! Will go get him a week from today. I have been without one since last September when I had to put Sabre down due to cancer. This one is a black/rust male dobe, three years old--older than I would like, but he has basic obedience, has been neutered and his ears are cropped. Sabre had natural ears, but prefer the cropped ones and these are a medium length which I like better. He has already been assessed to be suitable for service dog work and he is free! My attendant and I are going to get him. He is about a 3-4 hour drive away. Just hope the weather cooperates--everyone cross your eyes that it all works out!.
You all are the first to be told this. I was not going to say anything until I actually had him, but ,,,,,
They are calling him Dobie right now--ugh!! Will have to change that as soon as possible!
take care,
Dana

I hope you are being sarcastic, if not, some SCI's cause ignorance and intolerance.

Hey guys and gals,
Just had to jump in and ask, does SCI eventually cause you to turn gay? I had a real hard time with gays before my accident, if I thought you were gay I would steer clear. Silas

I copy that River. The question that I have though it is, if they're gay people that wish they want to be straight, why can't they?

The Answer is easy. ask yourself if you are a straight male, would you want to lie with and make love with another male?
We are all wired to what is sexually attractive to us. Some are somewhere in the middle, whereas most are pretty certain about their sexuality.
Have a great day
