It's paratransit. I talked to the coordinator of the but she doesn't
sit on the board. Guess what? They can charge. It's a federal
law that people with disabilities that use curb to curb service pay at least
twice the amount of fixed route services. She was trained in D.C. before
she took the position. She is checking into all the other problems I am
having for me. She is going to drive down this weekend to see how far off
of the fixed route I live. Not only do I have to pay more but my service ends
earlier because they are trying to say I live more than 3/4 of a mile from the
fixed route. I live only 1/2. It was after I complained once before
that is when they decided that I lived in a rural area. They went by map
quest like that is real accurate (NOT). I�m waiting to hear back from my
state rep and found out who to talk to to find out who is on the board for the
transit.
