I have a plexi-glass rod that was bent by heat into a 90 degree angle.  It 
fits into a universal cuff and with a pencil eraser on the end pointing down 
is what I type with.  Then I take the inside of a pen and push it in the 
universal cuff, the opposite direction as the typing end, and I write with 
that.
So I can type, and with a turn of my wrist, can write.  It is "very" handy! 
The Technition Specialist guy at the Rehab place made it for me.  It was 
amazing what he could think of and invent for somebody!!

I really do appreciate the input.  I hadn't thought of some of these.  The 
primary problem I have is the Plexiglas needs to be cut and melted into a 
unique position.  I will try the shop class and also it won't hurt to ask 
some of the home-improvement stores.
