Wind against your face
The
faster you move forward, the more intensely you'll feel the wind against your
face. The more progress you make, the more resistance you're likely to
encounter. When the challenges become more formidable, it's because you've
become strong enough to handle them. Failure rarely meets much opposition.
Success, on the other hand, is often challenged at every turn. When you're
meeting up with resistance, it's because you're having an effect. That's one of
the strongest signals you could ever receive to keep on keeping on. Achievement
does not come easy. That's why it is so celebrated and valuable. Each challenge
serves to further prove the value of your pursuit and the depth of your
strength. Persist and endure, for the challenges confirm that you are already
making it
happen.
Meet the challenges
When
you run from challenges you are rewarded only with excuses and regrets. By
contrast, when you seek out and confront those challenges you are rewarded with
success and accomplishment. The sooner you confront your challenges, the more
positive the outcome will be. It will always be an effort. That's the essential
nature of challenge. But the longer you put it off, the more you run from it,
the worse the necessary effort will eventually be.
Stand up, step forward and walk out to meet your
challenges. Put yourself in a position of strength. Put yourself in a position
where you can gain from your own efforts. Be aggressive at meeting challenges
and you'll make the most of them. That's a whole lot better than hiding from
them and letting them drain you.
What challenge can you face head on and conquer today? It's out there,
and when you go out to meet it you'll be moving yourself positively

Today,
when I awoke, I suddenly realized that this is the "Best Day Of My Life," ever!
There were times when I wondered if I would make it to today; but I did! And
because I did I'm going to celebrate!
Today, I'm going to celebrate what an
unbelievable life I have had so far: the accomplishments, the many blessings,
and, yes, even the hardships because they have served to make me stronger. I
will go through this day with my head held high, and a happy heart. I will
marvel at God's seemingly simple gifts: the morning dew, sun, clouds, trees,
flowers and birds.
Today, none of His miraculous creations will escape my
notice.
Today, I will share my excitement for life with other people. I'll
make
someone smile. I'll go out of my way to perform an unexpected act
of
kindness for someone I don't even know.
Today, I'll give a sincere
compliment to someone who seems down. I'll tell a child how special he is, and
I'll tell someone I love just how deeply I care for them and how much they mean
to me.
Today is the day I quit worrying about what I don't have and start
being
grateful for all the wonderful things God has already given me.
I'll
remember that to worry is just a waste of time because my faith in God
and his Divine Plan ensures everything will be just fine.
Tonight, before I
go to bed, I'll go outside and raise my eyes to the
heavens. I will stand in
awe at the beauty of the stars and the moon, and I will praise God for these
magnificent treasures.
"Everyone was gripped with great wonder and awe. And they praised God,
saying over and over again; "We have seen amazing things 'TODAY'

As I go to sleep I will lay my head down
on my pillow, I will thank Almighty God for "The Best Day Of My Life." And I
will sleep as a contented child, excited with expectation because I know
tomorrow is going to be ......"The Best Day Of My Life!"
Father today I give you all the praise
and glory for everything
that happens to me. For this truly is the "Best Day
Of My Life

according to the need of the moment, that it may give grace to those who hear."

Giving
Grace
Before this day is done, an occasion will arise in your life that
todayâs verse calls âthe need of the moment.â It will happen this way: God has
someone in mind he wants to touch today. He has grace available for this person.
At the same time, Godâs looking for another person to serve as his conduit. What
does he do next? He crosses your paths. He puts the two of you together in a
grocery check-out line, on a golf course, at choir rehearsal, in Chemistry
class, in the parking lot or at the ATM
booth.
What happens after
that is up to you. You have before you a âneed of the moment.â You also have God
who desires to give divine help. You can choose to side-step the moment and,
thus, miss the opportunity, or you can give â such a word as is good for
edification... that it may give grace to those who
hear".
Every day
you and I have a chance â many chances â to nudge people closer to the Lord. To
be one more stepping stone in the many it will take to bring that person to
Christ. You have a chance to extend the magnificent grace of God through what
you say and do. You are a pipeline, an aqueduct through which He keeps meeting
needs of the moment in the lives of others. We can be in
partnership with the Lord to reach those he has special designs on. Ephesians
4:29 says so. Your
encouragement becomes grace that is strengthening, enabling and empowering for
others. This is the ministry God will call you to today. Donât miss it.
Sometime, before you lay your head on the pillow, someone will be positioned to
directly benefit from your words. When the opportunity arises, donât forget to
speak that word of grace.* * * * *
Put me
on alert, Lord. Thank You for using me as a conduit of Your love and care to

PRAYER~
Heavenly
Father
Thank you for this day you have given us. But we thank you for the heart
that is receiving your Word for the day. Lord, we ask that you mend the broken
one. We ask that you supply new love and remove all hurt and pain that this
heart has received. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus, that you touch this dear
heart, and lift up their spirits. May you shine your face upon them, and show
them that your love is greater than anything that we can imagine. Thank
you for your tender mercies that are new every morning. Thank you for your
faithfulness and forgiveness. Lord, be with us at this time and be with our
nation. May you heal our land and begin with me. In Jesus' name, we pray these
things. Amen

of a RIDER of GRACE~
The Super-Bowl is over, and New England won the game.
I was pulling for New England. The inauguration is over and January will
be over before you know it. In several weeks I will be having another
birthday. Please pray for our country and especially for our soldiers.
Pray for peace for this world. Please also continue to pray for me,that I
can continue getting out Donkey Tracks every week. God bless everyone of
you.
