Can you wear binders or support belts without somehow kinking off
the tube?
I need my binder and velcro strap for ab support.
Unsure if I'll ever get one but seems like putting a hole in the
stomach would ask for more problems. Seeping, daily treatment of
bandaging? Plus I trust NO Drs these days.

Hi Gale,
I think they said when I got mine 10 years ago that no baths for a
week and no showers for 2 or 3 days but I might be wrong. Your
doctor might have other ideas so it would be best to check with them to
be safe. My catheter is a 24 FR., I don't think they use that big for
indwelling. From what others have posted on the list I think they use a
lot of different sizes depending on what the doctor decides is best for
you.

catheters.
1. Can you still take regular baths, or do you
have to shower?
2. Do you use larger catheters than you use to use
when they were indwelling?
