I used to have uti's all the time. I had to stop taking or eating anything
with vit. c--do take a multi vitamin and as long as I do not go overboard
with vit C, can get by with an ocassional BLT or lots of catsup on
something.. Anyway, ever since I started putting my used catheters in a
bleach/water
solution to soak until it was time to boil them, I have had maybe 1-2 uti's
over a 2-3 year period.
That is with a urinary diversion or bladder reconstruction, what ever you
want to call it. I also was on a low anti-biotic dosage for a preventative
measure--did not work. "Nothing" worked until this bleach/water solution
was started.

I had UTI's so often and nothing stopped them. And my symptoms were not fun.
I finely stared taking a low dose of antibiotics every day. Now I rarely
getthem It's been a huge relief.
