Fiberglass raised roofs are a strange breed. First, you have to design a form that is both pleasant and functional. You will not any money on that form design until you cast about 2500 tops for the after market or conversion market. The top's design has to carry crash testing certification. The top can become obsolete when OEM's change body styles, so there is also some risk involved. Elk Conversion (Dodge) uses a clamshell conversion top that looks like its been made for the dodge caravan and has lots of room for the Warner Bros. Package that uses the overhead console with separate games. So if you've got $15,000 dollars laying around that you wish to invest in a top design and production rights that will only fit one brand/model of vehicle, good luck, lol. Check out Elk Conversions and see if its that top you saw. Best Wishes W

One of the vehicles was a Dodge Caravan with a raised roof. It actually didn't look to bad. It was done by a local custom van shop. It added at least 6 inches behind the front seats and at least 4 in front of the liftgate. It would be extra headroom for taller quads wanting to use a minivan. I wish I would have had a camera. Anyway it had been raised to accommodate a big LCD screen, high end stereo, lighting, and other assorted cool toys. >>
