I hope that you have advised your doctor's jointly about how you feel.  
Depression is just factor associated with the loss of mobility and the pain.  
You 
should be in contact with your local chapter of the National Spinal Cord 
Injury- support group to help address those stages of depression, which are not 
nice, but consider normal with rehab.  I am copying your responses to the Quad 
List and hope that you are also receiving some emails from the quad list.
Inspite of you being a para with function, I'm guessing that there are 
several Quads who would trade places with you in a heartbeat.  Have you hooked 
up 
with CILs in your area as you begin your journey back to getting back to work 
and living?
