i was told the same thing....for now it is not worth the risk, i get by pretty good for a c-4,5,7.

The big thing about this procedure is If it is successful. A year ago I went to the Mayo Clinic to be evaluated for tendon transfers. I qualify for one arm but not the next and they made a very clear to me that IF the procedure does not work it is a reversible and I will lose the movement that I have now. I'm having a hard time deciding if I should go ahead with the procedure because if I lose what I have now I'm going to be screwed. I know that if the procedure works it will make my life better but the question is is the risk worth losing what I have?
