I AGREE DANA... THAT WAS MY POINT. It took professionals to tell me that after my resume was so "I'm disabled" then "Here's my resume" style.
I tried all summer (after college graduation) to get jobs in my area of interest & expertise by sending out resumes that announced my disability ... not a single offer.

I disagree. If you are qualified, you are qualified. They cannot hire/fire
because of a disability. If you tell them up front it gives them time to
come up with an excuse to not even interview you. If they hire someone with
lesser qualifications, then you can say 'foul'!
