I looked in every newspaper laying around. I asked the staff to keep
their eye out and called every apt. complex in the phone book whether they had
accessible units advertised or not. You just never know. You might
call one and they don�t have it but may know someplace that does. I got a
lot that way just getting service in general. I called the ILC, they
turned me to a person at the health dept. I got hooked up with a gentleman
that worked very hard to locate a place for me. He still works with
me. When I cannot pay a bill, he locates agencies that can provide some
funds to help me. He even gave me a ride to the salvation army when my
electric bill was getting turned off. If I didn't have attendant care
through the waiver, he would have found services for that. Definitely call
the health dept. Through talking to him, I talked to someone else that
turned me to the waiver program. No one down here knew about it because it
was a new service in this area. You just never know. You all in
homes should really consider what we are offering here because you can
really get out of there.

housing and getting everything set-up. But I wanted it and dd it. It helps 2
locate others in our area see if there are units where they live, what
agencies they like/ don�t like. Contact area living center 4 assistance &

december 22 before I got out and didn�t know I had a place til the 21st.
I got lucky someone in our community knew of my situation (news) and

Not only was I on the news put continued writing the local paper that
did an article on me when I got sick. I continued to write an update of my
progress to the reporter that did the original article. If you want out of
there, no one is going to come rescue you, it's going to take work from you
to get yourself out of there. If you need any advice, help, wanna
chat, email me and I'll do what I can to help you. It breaks my heart
that you have to be in there. It's no place for a young person to be.

guys remain locked away; and Steph, i'm forwarding your email to my
BSCIP caseworker coz that program, the way i understand it, is for keeping
young bright minds out of nursing homes.
I'm really happy that
this list is here, too. It's my connection to people that
understand my life...well, a little bit, anyway.
I would love
to see you and Dave out of those prisons...
Now, here's my take
on euthanasia: I'm all for having the right to get out
with some dignity. It makes no sense to me that we put animals
down to provide mercy, but force people to suffer right to the long
drawn out bitter end, no matter how horrible it is.
I've
thought a lot about this, and i know drug dealers that i'll get enough
oxycotins to do the job when i'm ready.;...i just ain't ready....i
love my life, and see past the bars of prison, but if one day that
prison becomes too much, then i want a
choice.
