"No offense Lori but how do
you fare in church not believing in religion?"
I believe in hardcore
old-fashioned values. Finding people who have the same values as
we do in society today is extremely difficult.
Of all faiths, The LDS
Church (Mormon) shares the same values and truly 'due unto your
neighbor' living. Of course their are hypocrites everywhere so
that's understood.
Everyone (even in the
same denominations) has a different "take" on this or that in "beliefs"
otherwise we'd all be clones of each other.
I may never buy into
the whole fairy tale but may find hope, help & sincerity in church
fellowship.
HOWEVER .. I just met
w/ the church missionaries (who make visits until you're a member) and
there may be a problem with having my service dog attend! I met
with the Bishop's wife 3 weeks ago and it wasn't an issue. Now it
seems to be.
Like.. are they so
weak in faith they can't concentrate if a dog is in the back of the
church? Which is where I'd be. Are they above the ADA?
Does their worship fail?
Here's where CHURCH
POWER comes into play. So I may be seeing their true colors now
too. They allow dogs for the blind but are giving me a
problem. Hmmmmph!
We'll
see.
