Wheelchair,   Here in Minnesota when I was going through DRS to get me back to work and for all my drivers training, they told me back in 2001 that I needed to purchase a brand-new 2001 Ford E-150 conversion van by Waldock or by Elk.  They specified that I should not purchase the Ford factory conversion van because of the rear seat placement.  They told me that the rear seat on the factory model is more towards the front of the vehicle and it would need to be moved back.  I'm sure they specified and aftermarket conversion van just for the price of the adaptions but I wish to see was moved back even further.  My point is, is that DRS told me exactly what to buy, which I did.  I do wish I purc! hased a three-quarter ton van not because my half ton van does not handle or ride well it is only because the lighter duty tires make its sway more in the wind and on rougher roads. My next set of tires will be a heavier truck tire with stiffer sidewalls.  Unfortunately for me, when I inflate my tires to maximum (41 pounds), which makes my van handle just great, they only last at that pressure for a short amount of time before they level off at approximately 33 pounds.  This is mind-boggling to me but it must have something to do with the aluminum wheels.   As for all the extra safety features on the new lifts, I think that is a bunch of BS because every limit switch that they put on for safety is one more item that is going to cause us problems with a specially in the winter months with the extreme cold and snow.   I have the Braun millennium II lift which works just great when the temperatures are above 20 degrees but I really wish that they had a power down that would be able to be turned on and off for the winter months.  Waiting for the lift to lower in the winter is not only time-consuming and inconvenient but can be hazardous and dangerous to our health.  My remote control that I have for the Braun lift is also a joke because you have to hold the buttons down for each operation of the lift.  I don't have a problem holding the button down to open the doors but I guess to be obtained in the butt especially in cold weather to hold each button down for unfolding and lowering the lift itself.  I'll issue is my toggle switches that! are located on my rear light because I do not want to wear the batteries out on my remote control.   Jim   Celebrate Yahoo!'s 10th Birthday!
