Jim, I've said it before and I'll say it again.  I have the utmost respective 
for you and anyone else who must survive in the cold and extreme cold 
climate.  But I also like your concept of KISS.  Keep It Simple & Stupid.  It 
should 
be the first rule in concept engineer with adaptive equipment.  
Unfortunately.... it isn't.
