Hi Jim,
I didn't see any 'white light' but I do remember going up to the front seat of the Ambulance where my wife was seated to tell her that 'everything would be okay' while I was being transported from Phoenix General to Barrow's in '76.
As for as spooks, you'd be crazy to think there isn't an energy outside our bodies that loves to play games! Good and bad games.

I floated out of my body in a white light when the doctor was taking out my tracheotomy that would not let me talk to replace it with one that I would be able to talk and they had the wrong size so the doctor had to sit there with a his thumb in my throat. While I floated out of my body towards the white light I turned around to see myself laying on the table with the doctors thumb in my throat. And for some reason I turned around and went back to my body.I also believe in spooks. My hospital bed used to be in our living room and one night I was sleeping only to be awakened by a click and then the movement of my hospital bed raising me up to the sitting position. I yelled for my wife and told her what was going on and she thought I was nuts. When she got to me I was sitting up and my bed was still turned on whirling away. The controller for my bed was connected to my nightstand, which I was unable to reach. Figure that one out. So, now I also believe in spooks.Jim
