To what are you referring? I was an addiction counselor for years and am not aware of such benefits. Is this social security? If so, addiction is not a disabling condition, the severe physical consequences some may have as a result of addiction can sometimes be considered disabiling enough to qualify, but not addiction on it's own.

Children of poor families who qualify for medicaid do get that, but only children. Unless, the adult has a disabling condition.

Please elaborate if you can.
