Sorry for the confusion. I was initially using a latex (Bard) and they switched me to a silicone catheter. After proving I was allergic to the silicone, I was switched back to the latex catheter. The silicone I was using was not clear, so I cannot comment on that issue.

Billy, I may have misunderstood but I thought you changed catheters to silicone from the latex was it the opposite? I use the latex type.......someone in the room had said with the clear silicone its easier to tell if its getting clogged -- i'm just curious in case I ever need to switch.
