Hi Dana,
I still have family living in Belleville. My mother's maiden name is Kane. I was born in Redbud because my mom couldn't make the 29 miles to the Scott Air Force Base Hospital. My older brother was born there, too, but we lived in Du Quion, IL. A small world!

Well my story is pretty interesting. In short I went to the police academy
in 97 and graduated oct 97 was 21 years old at time. Did security for a
couple months until I was hired by Washington Missouri Police Dept. I
started
there Dec 1, 97. Things were going well i met a girl right away who was
training
to be a cop. Well the fun didn't last very long. On Jan16, 98 I was on my
way
home from work in my Geo Tracker. I came to a corner and wasn't familiar
with
the road yet, I was going to fast, back end slid out and I rolled and was
ejected onto highway. I wasn't wearing a seat belt. When I hit the ground
my
head took the impact, I broke my neck and damaged my spinal cord. then I
spent
over three months in hospital, lost girlfriend as well as many other
friends
and aquaintances.
I came to quadlist when I got this syrinx, I needed to know how others were dealing with it.
