Hey Dave,
 
It had the same effect on me plus I put on weight.  My doctor was a bit upset I quit taking it but did absolutely nothing for the pain.  I take a low dose of methadone and I love it.  It's only 15mg a day.  The spasticity decreased and everything.

I started taking Elavil and the longer it was in my system, the later I was getting up in the mornings.  I'm usually up at 5:45 A.M. so it was unusual and I stopped using it.
