It was because she was in a vegetative state, not because she couldn't feed herself.  If she could chew and swallow normally then the nurses obligation would be to feed her.  Where have you been all along?  Your arguments are the same as the peoples befoe they learned the details.

One fact, Terri could swallow, she could eat normally, it just took too long
so a feeding tube was inserted.
