I was recently contacted by man named Denny Wood who says he is a disability advocate who works on the state level in Tallahassee. ADDAPT sent a letter that I had sent to them requesting help with the brain and spinal cord injury Medicaid waiver program almost a year ago. On an additional note, from all the letters that I sent out previously in November I have received to letters essentially placating me and telling me that all is well and the consumer directed care program will solve all of my problems. Of course they forget to mention that right now that program does not even exist and may never be.
