I must be thinking of the wrong thing. My cystoscopy was a little fiber optic gizmo about 1/8 inch in diameter with a little light on the end.  Doc inserted and the pic showed on a monitor by the bed.  It looked pretty nasty in there - lots of cubbys and dangly things.  No pain and no major discomfort.  It is much the same as a catheter I think.   I'm looking at some new wheels.  That darned Ebay.... http://www.users.qwest.net/~daveoc/bnb/BNB.html  the current bid is $3,500.   Heck, the ramp is worth twice that....
