I don't usually think of how long this or that has been but every so often
I'll look at a date and I'll think hmmmmm...
What I mean is (and for example) is that Mark wrote below that his injury was in '99. I had already been on this list for four years by 1999! And injured 20 years by then!
I'll sometimes put my life in time frames but anyone can. Like before 911. After JFK's assasination. The list is endless.
I remember being in rehab & my peer counselor (a quad) saying that he had been a quad ten years by then & I thought then ... WOW ... That's a long time. Now it's been 25 yrs for me.

Hey Ronnie, Welcome to the quad list I'm Mark a C5/6 since 99. There's lots of people who can answer any questions you have or just what's on your mind today so welcome and enjoy.
Mark
It has been 34 years for me and, I swear, it seems more like five. The
passing of time is a baffling, mysterious, strange, and yes, depressing
thing to consider. It doesn't behoove one to think upon it too much. Carpe
diem, seize the day, and let tomorrow take care of itself. Easy to say, not
so easy to do.
