I use to get excited by advances in technology. I think It's great that a
guy is able to do things by implanting a chip in his brain. I hate being a
pessimist, but if all the tests work out for them, then what? I have trouble
getting my wheelchair fixed! The way health insurance and medicare work we wont
see any significant advances in SCI treatment untill some drug company
working on a cure for bad breath stumbles into a pill that resets your nerve
system. The future always sounds rediculous. Brain chips doesnt sound rediculous
enough.
I sure hope they prove me wrong.
