No problem Silas,
They brought both chairs to my house for me to try and I wanted the 4x4 believe me, I live in a rural part of Arkansas but I couldn't even turn around in my living room without knocking the couch around.
I plan on this being my first hunting season also.
Maybe we can get together and go mudding one day!

Thanks Pirate,
Magic  mobility brought their extrem 4x4 wheelchair to my house today for a demo, man you would not believe this chair its awsome.  I went places that I never though I would go again, needless to say I went ahead and ordered one.  So maybe with the help of the grants for the gun mount ill be able to do some hunting this fall.  Thanks again.  Silas

BADF and Streamlight

Taking Applications for Mechanical Gun Mounts

Buckmasters American Deer Foundation and Streamlight will be providing gun mounts for quadriplegics and other individuals who have severe impairment which completely limits them from holding, aiming and firing a long gun or crossbow.  The number of mounts available is limited to available funding.

We ask that you only apply if you are very limited and must have a devise that has power movement and power trigger firing.  If you currently have a device that you can successfully hunt with, please do not apply.  All others needing adaptive equipment, but nothing as extreme as a totally mechanical unit, are urged to order the Solutions for Adaptive Shooting video from http://www.badf.org/Features/010801Video.html  and look under http://www.badf.org/Disabled_Hunters/AdaptiveEquip.html  for information on available devices.

Here are the instructions on how to apply for a gun mount.  Applications will be reviewed and finalists will receive a telephone interview.
