I'm c5-6 complete and many nights while lying in
bed experience terrible pain in my lower extremities just as a foot amputee
feels pain in his missing foot on occassions. The pain is in the
internal brain connections (the firing of dendrites) that used to be
connected.

Subject: [QUAD-L] Implant box to stop
pain
Hi All!
I have a friend who is a para, incomplete, who
experiences alot of lower body pain. His dr is talking about implanting
some sort of box under his skin which would help ease the pain. I didn't
get the specifics. Has anyone heard of such a thing? Has anyone
opted to have a surgery to "cut the spinal cord" to make the injury complete
to stop pain? I was thinking that years ago there was some discussion
here on a surgery along those lines.
Hope everyone had a nice weekend!
