As you put it Lori " all this armchair police of the Mexicans is futile" is not so. things can be done about them. there is a group that I correspond with that are now waging battle in Washington against some of the things that Bush is proposing. One of the matters is : that Mexicans not be allowed to have driver's liscenses unless they are here legally. and it passed in the house of rep. but I have been sick with Bronchitis and have not kept up with it.
Here in KY the Mexicans get free health care thru the board of health.
There are Mexicans working on expired work permits for the state of KY. the govt chooses to look the other way because they claim you can't get the americans to do the jobs they would do.
They are living several families to each apartment. The crime rate here is high. If you look at the court dockets you will see that every other court case has a hispanic name. there are been several murders committed here by Mexicans.
There are certain subdivisions you don't go to anymore because you will get mugged. and they used to be decent places to live. The town is overrun with them. The north side town Walmart you don't go there at night. They even have a police station there to keep control of the Mexicans. Walmart has several aisles in the grocery part dedicated to mexican foods. and the strange thing is if you ever get behind some of them in line...they all have cash to pay. this means they are working under the table for their wages. We charge or write checks and they pay cash.
Sorry you can't have it both ways...either get rid of them or accept them.
Seems we are headed for MexAmerica.
