Hi Carol,
I've had Medicare deny ONLY three claims in my 27 years of coverage. I appealed and won all three claims, but the crazy thing is that all three claims were for the same thing. It was for using an ambulance to go to the ER after accidentally getting my catheter pulled out and was unable to re-insert a new one. All three times I waited until we had worked long enough that I was in full-blown AD before calling for the ambulance because no car was available to me! I don't think they even knew what AD was when they denied the claims because after getting letters from my doctor explaining exactly what it was they approved the claims.
With Love,

Try filing an appeal with Medicare, usually they will come across. Also John does not go back to the hospital her had the stroke at. He has not been in the hospital for 2 years. I tell his Dr's they can treat him, give us the antibiotics, we will care for him at home. Hospitals are not set up for paralyzed people.
