Nope, I got the impression that indeed you WERE against opening the borders. Hence my comment that I think we're
on the same page. :-) People turn a blind eye and think that it doesn't affect them in their comfy little brain hazes.

That's just IT. We DO NOT OWE THEM anything. As we wouldn't expect THEIR COUNTRY to OWE US.
I think they get the impression that they were impoverished in their own country (by their own doings) for so long that
~the land of opportunity~ would/should AUTOMATICALLY feel sorry for them and thus care for them. Despite them creeping in and lingering around from one under-the-table job to another WITHOUT getting a green card.
Horrors that they actually take responsibility for their own actions. Other times (and those IN our own country) feel that because their great great great great grandaddy was a slave ... they feel we should MAKE UP for that! Oprah gets on the topic of slavery and EVERYONE ALWAYS THINKS SLAVERY AND BLACKS GO TOTHETHER! THEY DO NOT! PEOPLE JUST DON'T LEARN OR ADDRESS HISTORY!
But WHOA! Back up the truck. In all of history ... there were more white slaves than blacks. Like all the Hebrew slaves (AS ONE example of hundreds!) of long ago. But no one likes to THINK about that! Or the Muslim slaves of today! Muslim wives are treated like cattle.

It was a regular car. I don't monitor the hospitals but simple math using the Hispanic crime numbers and illegal alien high speed car chases resulting in innocent deaths make our 5 o'clock news at least 3+ times a week. (EVERY DAY A HISPANIC-related CRIME HAPPENS here).
