Hi Greg,
If it works for you then it's worth the extra $$$ you had to put into it. Enjoy it...it does sound nice!

I finely got my wheelchair accessible bathroom. The city has a $5000 grant

wanted.
My bedrooms bathroom was not very big. You go in and on the left is a sink
vanity that runs the length of the bathroom. The right was a tub, then a
wall that was only 3ft long with a toilet behind it. Because of the wall, I
could not even recline over the tub to wash my hair The walkway between the
sink and the tub side is 4ft wide by 8.5ft long.
I took the wall and tub out, so now it's just a big square with the toilet
in the same area and a roll in shower unit in the other corner. The shower
is floor level so I can turn around, recline, etc. The shower floor border
had this cool rubber tube like thing to keep the water from flowing out, but
it's hollow so I can just run my chai! r over it and it flattens out then
pops back up.
It's done except waiting for the floor tiles to set, it had wood floors.
It's cool that the city paid $5000, they also gave a $275 grant for changing
my grass backyard into a desrt landscape. Which I was doing, so that was
cool. That's a whole nother story. The landscapers tried to rip me off with
a $3000 overcharge.
