For 20 years I've never been turned at night. I
know I should, but I've never had a problem with it.
I do have a 6 inch thick foam mattress with the
butt area cut out, then I have a gell pad there. It's been great so far. I've
been looking at those memory foam mattresses. I might get one of those. I saw
one today at Sam's Club, a twin size an inch thick. Looks
interesting.

Subject: RE: [QUAD-L] Re New bed does this mattress alleviate the need to be turned? I have a pretty
old a lateral rotational mattress which affords me the opportunity to live by
myself without having to be turned. I know it is inevitably going to break
down one day, so I need to look into new mattresses.
Billy Hi
Billy,
Check
out the Genesis Mattress, I had one for a short while, after I came home
from the hospital. It was very comfortable & gently turned you if you set it
to turn.
I had
one for a couple of weeks when I came home from the hospital & rehab.
I have a Luminex Air Flo Mattress which is pretty comfortable. Good
luck!
