I think it takes a bit for folks to understand the DNR. I am my seizures don't require them to do much more than hold my hand. I've had a few AD episodes lately. Wish I knew what was causing them. I know valium and vicodin seem to help, but the vicodin isn't doing much about the pain.

Hi All,
Well, I think this is a GREAT idea. I got a Medic ID bracelet that states my wish's. It reads:  Do not resuscitate - I am a quadriplegic 1973 - keep me pain fee & comfortable. This is all written on the back, on the front is the medical symbol. It cost me $21 and I'm having the chain taken off and a leather strap put on instead. Because the chain is in my way when I do stuff. You can get a necklace if you wish.

I'd like to add on to what Bobbie said, I've got a similar thing called a SOS Talisman, it's similar to what Bobbie has, except with the Talismans there's a tiny "locket" thing with a strip of paper in it which holds all personal information as well as blood group, medication, tetnus updates, allergies, and quite a bit more.  You can get them in the bracelet/chain style or a necklace, but I'm not sure if there are any other ways that they come in.

There is a website for them but I don't know what it is, but if you do a search it will come up like that
