Those motors are produced in China for Invacare. When there is a production problem, sometimes it isn't discovered until the motor has been shipped, installed and back in the field. There have been many reports of electric motor, (brushless) over the last several years. Seems like Invacare has a big back order that continues to grow each day. Not every wheelchair will work for everyone and their personal habits will vary. Find the chair that works for your lifestyle. If the OT/PT objects, get their name and number and ask them to complete a rider/contract that if the chair does not meet your lifestyle, you have the right to return it, no questions asked. W
