Welcome back, Hope my refusal to join the Politically Correct bunch wasn't causing you nausia. My opinions are just that, opinions. Although most often based on application of critical thinking and common sense they are seldom "sensative" to other peoples feelings. Just not my style. I like to shake things up.
Yep, I like my new Quikie. It'll really take a beating and this new one with tilt in place and optional front suspension castors rides smooth down the sidewalk cracks. I have a good guy up at Hines VA that repairs all the Vets chairs who swears by Quikies. They scrap a couple Invacares every week after stripping off any usable parts. My old Quickie lasted 8 years (I still have it as a spare thanks to my buddy, they stopped making the exact model, P-200, which was very sturdy but a rough noisy ride) and only required new arm pads, tires, and 3 sets of batteries over the years.
