Hi all,
Six yrs ago when back in NY state and we were moving via my van ... I stumbled
upon a company founded by a PT that provided traveling companions nationwide
to those with disabilities. She does it as well but has contacts/employees all
over who are bonded and insured.
She was located in Calif and we 'almost' used her help to move.
Now that I need that help again (people who are familiar with transferring, etc)
I can't find it. Nor did I keep it. Or misplaced it.
I've done umpteen searches on 'traveling companions' and wording it
numerous ways like including 'for disabled' or 'RN' or 'PT' and nothing
like her GREAT organization comes up.
Maybe she no longer does it but maybe so. Anyone know of
a similar organization with people familiar with SCIs, MS, etc or, since
some of you are in Calif ... does it ring a bell?
I can't even recall where in Ca she was since, being in NYS ... I was
a world away. Now I'm in AZ and only 6 hrs from Ca.
Anyway ... I'm interested in ground travel by my vehicle only.
Help!
