I think I'm lucky. Y'all have these depressing anniversaries. Mine is September 24th but I was so messed up I don't remember much until after Thanksgiving. I use to think, If there is a god, I have some questions. Because there is an 'if' in my statement I won't be asking god and the other guy probably won't want to answer my questions.
I do hope you can let go of these so called 'anniversaries'. You aren't defined by your disability. Your just a person that happens to have a spinal injury and a serious wealth of patience.
