I have had both mini-van and full sized van.  The mini-van was a piece of crap. I had to get a new fuel pump every year, it was so low you rip the under carriage going over speed bumps. One time the oil filter got ripped over going over a bump.  It was very tight inside the mini-van. I also had problems with getting repairs do on it. So no matter which type make they can be serviced in the town you live.  So I guess the full-size van would be my pick no matter what.
