Well, I feel better. I have a 1980 chevy beauville with a raised roof and a crow river (suicide) lift. It has 192,000 miles on it. It drinks gas like a drunken sailor (11.5 mpg). It has only died in traffic one time when the key switch went out. (I'm one of those slow drivers that everyone hates cause they got to get to the next stop light faster than anyone else.) Obviously, vehicles last longer if you drive them gently.

I too wonder how  the average quad can afford a new van. I certainly can't
and my wife and I together make over 80k a year. Gas, insurance, medical
supplies, house payment take 75% of it. Government funding or a large
settlement may explain it. I have a 96 E-150 that I bought on ebay for 13k.
Take a look at some of the doozies listed at www.disableddealer.com.
Breathtaking.
