You need to contact an Independent Living service in your area to help you get things going. I was in a nursing home for 2 1/2 years before I got out on my own. I could've done it quicker if I started earlier, You're already on the right track just by wanting to so good luck!

I'm a new subscriber and i am trying to move out of my parents home and be on my own. I'm a 19 C2 incomplete ventilator dependant quad. I need some advice on what i need to do. I realize that I'll have to have someone live with me for my care. can i get your input on what's the best thing to do.
