A friend from Michigan alerted us that tomorrow, Tues August 23 on NPR Radio
show Talk of the Nation (from 2 - 4 pm in his area) they are going to be
talking about "what do we do with people when they can't take care of
themselves?"

>From the website they have listed for tomorrow:

Aug. 23 7 Iraqi negotiators continue to seek agreement on the new
constitution ...

Also, we look at caring for the elderly. Is a nursing home the best
alternative to home care?

Anyone who gets Talk of the Nation in their area might want to call in and
let the listeners know about MiCASSA and Money Follows the Person.

A tip! Callers are screened and our friend has found the screeners often
like people who ask questions as opposed to people who plan to make a
speech. So when you are being screened phrase your issue as a question and
then, when you are on the air you can add your own ideas about the answers
too!
