I'm all for a flat tax but it will never happen.
You think Exxon wants a flat tax?
Big business runs this country more  now than ever and they don't want to pay 15% of their money.

The tax code needs to be reformed to eliminate the loop holes There should be a flat tax on income, say 15%. Exempt the first say $70,000 or so. Let people take deductions for charitable donations to encourage giving and interest on home montages, for primary residents only, to help people own their own home.

For those wealthy Socialists types who complain about getting tax breaks and not paying enough taxes, give the option for people to pay more to the government if they want.

It cracks me up when I saw those wealthy celebrates complaining about getting tax breaks. They complain about how the government is spending their money but they want the government to take more from them. Take that tax break and start a business to employ people. Or just give it away to the homeless. It's your money, you should be able to do what you want with it.

Well sorry Stunt but I think with all the loop  holes and tax  breaks the filthy  rich get this is at least one way to make them pay their share for a change or at least a small part of it.

It needs reformed not dismissed and the facts are the NFU or National Farmers Union agree and support this, so why would they support something that would put them out of business?
