Hi Jim

I am a C4 quad, and have only shoulder shrugs. I use a mouthstick that we made here, that I have now have for 14 years. When I want to write a letter, or am on a chatline, I'd use DragonDictate version seven. However, my household is not very quiet, with three grandchildren visiting from next door at any time. DragonDictate does not work unless the house is fairly quiet, and I am positioned just right for the microphone. Therefore I use the mouthstick most of the time, and even though I can only tell you about 20 words per minute with the mouthstick, I do not have to go back and fix multiple errors. It is just an aluminum shaft, with a plastic mouth part that we mold with hot water and then I hold it in my mouth until it hardens. The end by the keyboard is bent at a 90 degree angle, and I use a normal pencil eraser slipped over the end of it so as to stabilize unnecessary movement on the keyboard. I use easy access for my PC with number lock and use the keypad for a mouse! . I have the settings for the mouse set on very fast, so I can really zip across the monitor. Hope this helps.

Joan

What does everyone use for computer access with no arm movement? The

doesn't work with my new computer. I need to look for some new way to
access the computer.
