  I also have the same problem and I am in California but I use a small towel

 over my head to keep me from getting cold. I also have a sheet blanket

 that helps really Great for temp control without using the heater to fry the

 other people in the house.

As long as my ears were cold, I felt cold. So I slept with a fleace hat on. It helped a lot. That way I could use fewer blankets, yet keep my head and ears warm. I might try that tonight.
