Mark,

I did my 1st three records on Cakewalk, now I'm using a new Cakewalk program called SONAR.  So you have melodies and/or lyrics swimming in your head?  Excellent!  The best success I've had is getting my lyrics and melodies written and finding the tempo, then sing it accapella  into the program, it's just a scratch recording.  Now play it back, loop 4-8 measures and listen for the basic beat- boom, click, boom, click (bass drum, snare).
Get that done then, I use a little $15 dollar Casio to pick out a bass line then with your sound module add keys/horns/strings etc.  I do entire recordings with a mouthstick and then I need
a "walkie" to put in a cd to burn the final product!  14 years ago, I thought I'd never be able to play/write again but this is a wonderful creative outlet since I can't rap my hand around the
frets and bang out "Eruption" anymore!  If it sounds interesting and you need some help, let me know, I'll be glad to, blessings

Hi Mark,

Thanks for checking the site and listening!  Rock-N-Chair isn't  together anymore but I'm working on my 3rd solo record, I do most instruments on computer.  I'm trying to put together a touring group and I'll let you know if/when it's ready, would love to play at your event!

Hey Greg,
I just checked out 3-7-12 and had no idea you were a musician.
I also played guitar(Strat)20 years until my accident.
I listened to Premonition and it sounded great. It's got that southern sound I like.
I'm a big SRV fan who's in my book the best guitar player that ever lived.

Anyways, glad I checked your site out.

Do you guys travel btw we put on a fund raiser every year and it would be great to have your band play.
