The Quantum Pride wheelchair is definitely not an off-road or for that matter it's not even a rual chair and is a chair that I am not interested in.  I need to try out several different chairs for insurance reasons and if I have to kick in some extra money for an Omega Track I'm going to try to see what I can do.

In the first hour that I was in the Omega Track I had more freedom around my property then I have had in the past five years of being a quadriplegic.  I was able to go up to my second garage and actually get inside of it without leapfrogging plywood across the driveway because of the loose gravel.  I was able to go down to the dirt road to the river for the first time in five years because my Invacare shakes so bad all I do is spasm.  I went down to the river with the air suspension all the way up and on the way back I put it partly down, which was fantastic and then I put it all the way down and the ride was still so much smoother than my Invacare.  I even took it around town to the places I go to and places I was unable to go to like the cemetery to see my parents.  Of course, I did not do my ventures alone.  I had one of my caregivers come with me just in case.
