Hi, welcome to the list, Does your Dad use the computer himself ? Using the computer has been a major help for most of us....I'm a c-6  but many here are higher level quads like your dad. They use Dragon Dictate and other methods of voice recognition to use their computers. It is nice for communication, learning and very many good game sites...scrabble, chess, checkers trivia and hundreds of other games. Plus many sites to read other quads links and web sites telling their stories and so on. Also if he can get out going places like a park-museum-zoo- church or etc. can be a big help. The 1st year and in some cases longer can be the worst while learning to live and cope with being a quad survivor.                                                                                        God bless...........Dan
